Essential Design Tips for Achieving Flawless Printing Results

Great prints start long before the press runs. In our studio, the difference between a good result and a flawless one almost always comes down to file preparation: resolution, color mode and margins.

Design at full size and 300 DPI, work in CMYK from the start, and keep critical text at least 3mm inside the trim edge. These three habits prevent the vast majority of reprints we see.

Proof before you commit

Always request a digital proof. Viewing your artwork at 100 percent reveals low-resolution images, hairline borders and overprint surprises while they are still cheap to fix.
